The Mt. Desert Festival of Chamber Music is proud to present its 51st season of summer concerts at the Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor, Maine. The series of five concerts will begin on July 22, 2014 at 8:15. The final concert of the season will be August 19, 2014.

The Neighborhood House allows for the presentation of chamber music at its best in an intimate setting with fine acoustics. Its old world charm adds to the informal yet serious setting, perfect for world-class chamber music ensembles. The Mt. Desert Festival is proud to have been associated with the historic building all these years, witnessing the remarkable change in its fortune, from a neglected reminder of the Island’s former Golden Age to its present revitalized state. Thanks to enthusiastic support, the Neighborhood House, which will be celebrating its 110th year, has reclaimed its central place in the cultural and social life of the Northeast Harbor Community.
